We can report the following planning applications to 12 January 2018.

31 Annesley Drive CR0 8QX: Ref. No: 17/06137/LP – Erection of dormer extension in the rear roof slope with a Juliet balcony. Extension of roof from hip to gable end and installation of Velux windows in the front roof slope.

3 Inwood Close CR0 8BP: Ref. No: 17/06214/HSE – Erection of front extension to garage.

6 Spring Park Avenue CR0 5EG: Ref. No: 17/06265/LP – Erection of gable-end roof extension with dormer extension in rear roof slope.

129 Shirley Way CR0 8PN: Ref. No: 18/00070/HSE – Erection of a rear ground-floor extension.

190 Wickham Road CR0 8BJ: Ref. No: 17/06390/HSE – Erection of a replacement single-storey side extension and external alterations including re-landscaping of front garden area.

248A Wickham Road CR0 8BJ: Ref. No: 18/00043/FUL – Alterations and erection of second-floor rear extension. Use of first and second floors as a one-bedroom flat and separate studio flat.


There has been an increase in the number and scope of planning applications in the SPRA area which we are closely monitoring.

MORA applications relating to over-development continue to also be monitored and SPRA support given if requested.

The Council guidelines state that you have until the consultation deadline to make a comment (object, support or be neutral) and if you do not comment within that period, the Council will assume that you do not wish to comment. However, even if the publicity period has expired (publicity = a notice posted at or near the site; details on the Planning website or, for certain projects, an entry in the local Guardian newspaper), it may not be too late to comment. You must comment in writing and you can do this by letter, email or via the website – see links below. You can phone the Council to find out if the time period to comment is still open. In all cases, quote the property address and, if possible, the planning reference number.
