Protect our green spaces – now!!!

Local Plan Partial Review – Call for Evidence on Local Green Spaces:

Croydon Council are running an online survey to find out which open green spaces are valued by residents and why (e.g. for wildlife, exercise, tranquillity). The survey closes on 22nd July and spaces being considered include Millers Pond, Temple Avenue Copse, Parkfields and Shirley Recreation Ground (by the bowls club and St John’s Church). The Council say there are currently no planning applications for any of the spaces mentioned – but they are gathering evidence in case some are received.  Spring Park Residents Association are gathering information from groups within our area and compiling testimonies to put forward on behalf of our community.  The more people who respond, the better.  You can give your views here:
